Resorts of the Canadian Rockies is the place you want to work. We are looking to fill the position of a seasonal full-time Cirque Line Chef at Fernie Alpine Resort. Our guests come back because of the amazing food you can produce at a professional and passionate level. Your execution of our delicious meals will contribute to the amazing dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be an energetic individual willing to learn new skills, have a positive attitude, be teamwork-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Prepare, cook, and plate food to established standards for quality and presentation. Follow the kitchen’s systems&principles Promote a safe, sanitized work environment, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety, and food storage management Ensure the highest level of service and guest experience Provide non-stop teamwork with your teammates and managers Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee HandbookKnow and abide by RCR policies, Employee Handbook guidelines and Safety Management Program Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable You Have
Previous cook and food preparation experience required Cook training certification or equivalent an asset Food safe certification, an asset, may be obtained upon hire Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and a positive attitude Compensation And Benefits
Competitive wage: $18.50-$21.00/hour, dependent on experience, plus gratuities Mountain access perks: Staff receive an RCR pass with full mountain access, plus reciprocal resort tickets and discounted friends&family tickets Staff discounts: Enjoy savings on food&beverage, rentals, retail items and hotel accommodation.
