IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE:

Overseeing daily kitchen operations across all services and events

Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing culinary team

Setting and maintaining high standards for food quality, presentation, and cleanliness

Developing seasonal, guest-focused menus featuring fresh, local ingredients

Managing food and labour budgets with an eye on efficiency and excellence

Collaborating cross-functionally with FOH and leadership teams for seamless service

Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and best practices

Rolling up your sleeves and work the line when needed, this is a hands‑on leadership role

EXPERIENCE&SKILLS REQUIRED

Three (3) + years in a similar leadership role in high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environments

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others

Demonstrated ability to manage food and labour costs

Proven ability to develop, coach and inspire a high-performing team

Familiarity with tools like Bevspot, POS systems, and kitchen management software

Red Seal certification (or equivalent) is an asset, but not required

Eligibility to work in Canada

Existing housing in Whistler is a bonus; however temporary housing can be arranged

SALARY RANGE: $70,000– $80,000 annually (based on experience)
