Full and/or Part Time Line Cook (Longview)

Job Overview We are seeking a Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety standards. Duties - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients - Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station - Monitor food quality during service and make adjustments as needed - Follow proper food safety procedures at all times - Support the team in serving guests efficiently and courteously - Restock ingredients and supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations Skills - Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service environment - Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices - Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours - Excellent understanding of meal preparation techniques and presentation skills - Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Familiarity with the food industry’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and hygiene - Experience with serving guests and providing exceptional customer service is a plus This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who thrive in fast-paced environments.
