Guest Services Representative Fernie Lodging Co. Position Type: Part-Time Wage: $23.00 per hour Location: Fernie Schedule Requirements: Must be available weekends and holidays Position Overview Fernie Lodging Co. is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Guest Services Representative to join our team. This role combines front-line guest service responsibilities with administrative support to help ensure the company operates efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will act as one of the primary faces of the company, providing exceptional service to guests while supporting communication and coordination between departments and management teams. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities - Provide exceptional guest service in person, by phone, and through email communication - Act as a primary point of contact for guests before, during, and after their stay - Support day-to-day operational coordination across departments - Coordinate communication between housekeeping, maintenance, reservations, and management teams - Handle guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner - Support company initiatives and operational projects Qualifications & Skills - Strong customer service and communication skills - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities - Professional and positive attitude - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment - Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality setting - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Previous hospitality, administration, or guest service experience is considered an asset - Basic computer proficiency and experience with reservation, Microsoft Office suite or property management systems is highly recommended What We Offer - Competitive hourly wage - Supportive and collaborative work environment - Opportunity to grow within a dynamic hospitality company - Diverse and engaging day-to-day responsibilities - Beautiful mountain community work environment Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
