Restaurant Server (Cranbrook)

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a positive dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. The Server will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests while maintaining efficiency during busy hours. We are willing to train candidates with good potential. Responsibilities - Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience - Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Toast - Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality - Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations - Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations - Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities - Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during peak hours - Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally - Follow all sanitation, health, and safety guidelines in food handling and service Qualifications - Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required - Robust customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently - Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures - Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team to provide memorable dining experiences through excellent service and hospitality!
