Full-Time English Teacher Cranbrook

Teach engaged learners at Laurie Middle School as a Full-Time English Teacher for Grades 7-9 in Cranbrook, BC. This on-site role includes English, Literacy Intervention, and Alternate Education courses.

We are seeking a qualified English Teacher for a full-time continuing contract. Starting September 8, 2026, you will provide instruction in English 8-9, Literacy Intervention 7-9, and Alternate Education 7-9. Candidates must possess a degree or formal training in English, along with teaching experience at the Intermediate level.

Key Responsibilities: • Deliver English 8-9 lessons to diverse student groups • Lead Literacy Intervention programs for Grades 7-9 • Teach Alternate Education courses as required • Participate actively in the school community • Engage students in a supportive learning setting

Requirements: • BC Teacher Certification preferred • Degree and teaching experience in English required • Experience in Intermediate level education necessary • Commitment to ongoing professional development • Valid criminal record check as per regulations
