About the role
Full‑time, seasonal, overnight In‑Room Dining Server at Four Seasons Resort&Residences Whistler. This position requires dedication to excellent service, creativity, and the ability to work mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities
Deliver food orders to guest rooms, ensuring special needs or requests are met. Verify completed kitchen orders with the order taker or the guest's original order and transport items promptly for optimal food quality. Greet guests, provide engaging descriptions of menu items including origin, taste, and preparation methods.Communicate options for tray and dishware removal and respond to requests within established time standards. Break down, clean, and set up room service tables, condiment setups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations. Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, offer suggestions, and promptly address concerns and requests.Close guest checks accurately, securing room numbers and signatures; handle voided checks or complimentary meals appropriately. Adhere to Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct outlined in the Employee Handbook. Foster a harmonious and professional work environment, collaborating effectively with co‑workers and supervisors.Qualifications
Preferred background in Hospitality Education. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Food&Beverage, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant setting. Demonstrated knowledge and passion for all aspects of food and beverage. Proficient command of the English language. Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills, coupled with a dedication to customer service. Possession of the Serving It Right Certificate.Eligibility to work in Canada. Benefits
Hourly wage: $19.40–$20.55 plus eligible overnight premium of $2.00 per hour. Access to affordable shared staff accommodation.
