Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specifications, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring Cook food items according to recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering to food safety protocols Assist in food preparation during peak hours to ensure timely service Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness Support the team in meal assembly and plating for service Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the shift Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and high-quality food delivery Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Solid understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices Excellent teamwork and communication skills Basic knowledge of menu items and ingredients used in the restaurant industry Passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Prior experience with meal preparation, serving, or food industry roles is a plus Food Safe Certification This position is ideal for individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while contributing to a vibrant dining atmosphere.
