About the Role Reporting to the Application Training Lead, the Applications Trainer is responsible for delivering training to end users in the organization about how to use various types of software programs efficiently and effectively in support of business objectives. This individual designs, delivers, and improves in‑house applications training programs. The role acts as a change agent for EVR and can be based at any site in the valley.

In this role you will

Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.

Create, administer, analyze, and report on end user needs assessments and skills assessments.

Design, develop, and deliver training programs and individual classes for software applications.

Review training materials and documentation and keep them up to date.

Create training videos to support a competency‑based training model.

Communicate software problems and issues to software development and support teams.

Track training of participants in the training database.

Provide application support as required.

Requirements

Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite®.

Knowledge of trends in computer technology relating to software.

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent.

Experience with staff development is an asset.
