Join Isabella Dicken Elementary School's teaching team as a Bilingual Teacher Teaching on Call, delivering quality French Immersion and English instruction to Grades K-6. This temporary, part-time role allows you to inspire young learners while showcasing your language skills.

Our School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay) invites applications for a 0.832 FTE contract starting September 8, 2026, to June 25, 2027. As a fully bilingual educator, your primary focus will be to fill French Immersion vacancies, supporting students with effective lesson delivery. Additional TTOC assignments will be provided based on the day-to-day needs of the school.

Key Responsibilities:• Provide engaging French and English lessons for K-6 students • Replace French Immersion teachers as designated • Follow daily lesson instructions from the Human Resources Department • Foster a supportive learning environment in classrooms • Work collaboratively with fellow educatorsto enrich the curriculum

Requirements:• Valid BC Teacher Certification is essential • Degree or formal training in French Language/French Immersion • Experience teaching K-6 students • Must be bilingual in French and English • On-site availability Mondays through Thursdays
