GeoVerra is seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief based in Cranbrook, BC, eager to contribute to innovative field surveys and a safety-first workplace culture. This role combines operations management with strong teamwork and client interactions.

As Survey Crew Chief, you will lead field survey initiatives, mentor junior staff, and liaise with project stakeholders. A strong understanding of surveying practices and equipment coupled with effective communication skills will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform and manage field survey tasks • Collaborate with Project Managers on survey methods • Serve as point of contact for clients and landowners • Record detailed field data and notes • Provide mentorship to Survey Assistants

Requirements:• Post-secondary education in geomatics or related field • 3-5 years as a Survey Crew Chief • Proficient with survey technologies and software • Strong problem-solving abilities in the field • Valid driver’s license required
