Jaffray Science and Music Instructor, East Kootenays (Fernie)

Become a part-time Science and Music Instructor at Jaffray Elementary/Junior Secondary School. Engage students in Grades 8-10 and K-6 to foster their love for learning.

We are hiring a temporary instructor to teach Science and Music, focusing on full days Tuesday and Thursday, afternoons Wednesday, and alternating Fridays. Candidates with BC Teacher Certification and experience in elementary music education and middle school science are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:• Facilitate Science education for Grades 8 and 10 • Conduct Music classes for Grades K-6 • Collaborate with peers to enhance curriculum • Create assessments that measure student learning • Promote an inclusive educational environment for all

Requirements:• BC Teacher Certification preferred • Experience teaching Science at the middle school level • Degree in Music Education or related training • Proven teaching experience with specified grade levels • Onsite availability during scheduled workdays
