Procurement / Purchasing Agent [Bilingual Japanese / English Languages] Location: Torrance, CA Industry: Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $20 $24/hour (depending on experience) Position Summary We are seeking an Entry-Level Procurement Agent with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. This role supports purchasing, logistics, and shipping operations for aerospace components, coordinating between U.S. suppliers and international customers. Japanese bilingual fluency is highly preferred, but strong English proficiency is required.Responsibilities Purchasing Coordination• Research and identify availability of aerospace components based on customer inquiries • Negotiate pricing and prepare quotations, purchase orders, and related documentation • Track orders, shipping notices, and inventory to ensure timely deliveries• Work with internal teams and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and reduce costs Shipping&Receiving• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and manage cargo schedules • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy in pricing, freight costs, and labeling • Maintain inventory awareness and ensure proper documentation • Prepare packages for customer delivery and exportOther Duties• Maintain accurate records and follow compliance standards • Support special projects and assist management as needed • Uphold professional communication and ethical standards • Occasionally support after-hours tasks depending on workload Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience• Proficiency in English (required); business-level Japanese strongly preferred • Korean or Mandarin language skills a plus • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills • Driver’s license and ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs • Authorization to work in the U.S. requiredTravel:• Occasional local and domestic travel • Rare international travel How to Apply Please email your resume to .
