Front Desk Service Agent (Bracebridge)

Job duties and responsibilities but are not limited to: - Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms. - Provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly. - Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities - Responsible for assisting guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. - Check in guests arriving during shift, handle guest requests and take reservations online and over the phone. - Wash, dry and fold sheets and towels, organize them in the linen room. - Clean and tidy up hallways and lobby areas. - Must help with any other assigned tasks. Qualifications and Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Must be computer proficient; experience with accounting, reservation software and Microsoft is a bonus. - Excellent customer service and communication skills are required. - Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience is preferred, but not required. - Having a Smart Serve license would be an asset but is not required Perks (applicable immediately after 2 week or training period ends): - Employee Discount for Choice hotels across the globe. - Free Membership to the employee and 50% off for Employees immediate family members, for use of Health Club(Gym, Pool, Sauna, Hot tub) located on property.
