Duties - Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and gather detailed information about their service needs - Explain repair procedures, recommend additional services, and upsell maintenance packages to maximize customer value - Prepare detailed auto estimates using dealership management software, ensuring transparency and accuracy - Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and communicate updates to customers throughout the service process - Write clear and comprehensive service orders while maintaining meticulous records of all transactions - Assist customers with vehicle drop-off and pick-up, handling cash or credit card payments securely - Promote automotive maintenance programs and vehicle sales opportunities to enhance customer loyalty Experience - Previous dealership experience or automotive service management background preferred - Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignments, diesel engine repair, auto body repair, and oil changes - Proven ability in upselling services and automobile sales with excellent sales skills - Mechanical knowledge combined with experience working as a service technician or mechanic is highly advantageous - Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing procedures is a plus - Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally - Experience handling cash transactions accurately while maintaining high levels of integrity Embark on a rewarding career where your automotive expertise fuels customer satisfaction!
