Job Overview Sandhill Nursery – Huntsville, ON $65,000 – $80,000 per year (based on experience) Full-time | In-House Marketing Position Sandhill Nursery is seeking a highly creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Marketing Director to lead and execute the visual and digital marketing presence of our growing brands. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for exceptional design, storytelling, branding, photography, videography, and content creation — someone who can combine creative direction with hands-on execution across multiple platforms. You will help shape and grow the marketing presence of multiple brands including our nursery, garden market, landscape division, café, seasonal events, and other growing business ventures. Responsibilities - Lead and execute creative marketing initiatives across all company brands - Create high-quality social media graphics, reels, and short-form video content - Capture and edit professional photography and video content for marketing campaigns - Operate drone photography/videography for property, landscape, events, and promotional content - Edit videos for social media, advertising, and promotional campaigns - Design marketing materials and layouts using Adobe InDesign and related tools - Support digital advertising campaigns across Google and Meta platforms - Assist with content creation for social posts, ads, website updates, and promotional campaigns - Create and manage email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp - Support company events, promotions, and event management initiatives - Explore and apply AI creative tools such as Veo and other emerging technologies - Contribute creative ideas and brand direction to elevate the company’s visual identity and customer engagement - Help maintain consistent branding across nursery, landscape, café, retail, and seasonal campaigns Qualifications - Experience in graphic design, photography, videography, drone content creation, social media marketing, and content production - Proficiency in video editing tools, Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), Google Ads, Meta Ads, Mailchimp, or similar tools - Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling and marketing creativity - Robust aesthetic sense and attention to design quality - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Self-starter with initiative, creativity, organization, and reliability - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment - Experience with AI creative tools, branding strategy, performance marketing, or hospitality/landscape brands is considered an asset - Drone certification/license is considered an asset - Experience with event coordination or event marketing is considered an asset What We’re Looking For Someone who combines creative excellence with marketing execution — not just a designer, but a strategic visual storyteller who understands engagement, branding, events, and business growth.
