Location : Huntsville, ON, CA Title : Civil Project Engineer and Designer Full Job Description Civil Project Engineer - Land Development Key Responsibilities Prepare civil engineering drawings and technical reports for land development and site servicing projects Design water and sanitary servicing systems, stormwater management systems, grading, and erosion and sediment control plans Manage planning and site plan applications from submission through approvals and construction Coordinate with municipalities, conservation authorities, MNRF, MTO, DFO, and other regulatory agencies Prepare and respond to technical submissions and agency comments Review zoning by-laws, Official Plans, and municipal standards to support design and approvals Coordinate with surveyors, geotechnical consultants, environmental consultants, and project teams Support internal construction teams with servicing design, field coordination, and design revisions Maintain project documentation, correspondence, and approval tracking Assist with estimating, procurement, earthworks quantification, and budget tracking Qualifications Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related discipline P.Eng., C.E.T., or eligibility/intention to obtain professional designation 3-5+ years of experience in civil engineering design, land development, or municipal servicing Experience with stormwater management, grading, water/sanitary servicing, and ESC design Experience with planning approvals and municipal submission processes Knowledge of Ontario municipal standards, zoning by-laws, and development approvals Experience with Visual OTTHYMO or equivalent stormwater modelling software is an asset Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design software Robust communication and project coordination skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation What's Offered Competitive compensation package Medical and dental benefits Life and disability insurance Company pension and RRSP matching Profit sharing Paid time off Company events and casual work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nni2k
