WHY CHOOSE HLD MUSKOKA: - Positive and welcoming team - Full-time, year-round permanent employment - Benefits package including Life & AD&D;, and Long-Term Disability after 6 months - Company branded apparel provided - Boot allowance KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Construct and install frameworks, structures, and fixtures such as windows, doors, flooring, cabinets and shelves - Measure, cut, and shape materials to create frameworks and structures - Utilize hand tools and power tools to measure, cut, shape assemble and join materials - Collaborate effectively with other team members and communicate progress and challenges as needed - Other general and/or finishing carpentry duties as assigned - Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area at all times by following procedures and policies - Read and understand blueprints, designs and plans - Work with subcontractors and other trades to accomplish project goals - Perform additional duties as needed THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED: - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to find solutions - Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining HLD’s high standards of quality and craftmanship - Sound knowledge of all aspects of residential construction - Ability to prioritize different tasks and utilize time management skills YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: - Valid G level driver’s licence with clean abstract is an asset - Capable of standing, bending and lifting for extended periods - 5+ years experience in carpentry an asset - Legally eligible to work in Canada HLD Muskoka celebrates diversity and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
