Job Description Tretan Inc. is looking for talented dedicated drivers with exceptional customer service to join our team. We provide an excellent training program, dedicated equipment, and opportunities for growth! We are looking to hire reliable and hard-working DZ Drivers to transport goods to customers in a timely manner. To be successful as an DZ Driver at Tretan Inc., you should be knowledgeable of road safety regulations and able to concentrate for extended periods. Ultimately, an outstanding DZ Driver should be able to comply with company policies as well as demonstrate exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: The DZ Driver's responsibilities include: - Transport freight to and from multiple laydown areas - Maintaining an organized vehicle. - Filling out pre and post trip inspection forms. - Communicating with warehouse management. - Comply with all Health and Safety policies. - Safely securing goods to prevent damage. - Supervising the secure loading and unloading of goods onto and off the company truck. - Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient fuel and are always ready to use. - Identifying ways to minimize fuel consumption where possible. - Arranging for vehicle repairs and maintain a record of all maintenance activities and repairs performed on the company vehicle. - Maintain an accurate record of all pick-ups and drop-offs, rest periods, mileage covered, fuel consumption, and toll fees. - Comply with health and safety policies and procedures Requirements - 2 years AZ or DZ driver's license - with 2 years experience - Experience with floating equipment - Must be able to provide current drivers abstract, CVOR, and Letters of Experience - Must have previous dump truck experience Safety Culture Tretan’s safety culture is driven by our belief that no job warrants risking our employee’s health, the environment, or our customers operations.
