Maintenance Tradesman Position at MAHC, Huntsville

Ensure operational excellence at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare as a Maintenance Tradesman. This role focuses on maintaining vital healthcare systems across multiple sites, ensuring patient safety.

In this position, you will perform general maintenance as a tradesman for Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare, supporting both the South Muskoka and Huntsville District Memorial Hospitals. You will handle responsibilities including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks. Your expertise in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance will help maintain hospital standards and address urgent maintenance needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:• Repair and maintain critical hospital systems including electrical and plumbing • Monitor alarms through Building Automation System • Complete routine inspections of mechanical areas • Update maintenance documentation and manage work orders • Ensure timely response to urgent servicecalls

Requirements:• Must be an Ontario Licensed Tradesperson in relevant field • 5 years of hospital or industrial maintenance experience • Proficient in computerized maintenance tracking • Valid Driver's License required for trade activities • Must live within 125km of facilities or plan to relocate
