DZ Dump Truck Driver – Construction & Hauling (Year-Round Work) Location: Simcoe County & Muskoka Company: Riverstone Excavation & Underground Ltd. Pay: CA$20.30 – CA$30.00 per hour (based on experience) About the Role Riverstone Excavation & Underground Ltd. is hiring a professional DZ Dump Truck Driver with strong construction and hauling experience. This is a year-round, full-time position that goes beyond just driving. We are looking for a reliable, long-term driver who understands the pace and expectations of civil construction, quarry hauling, and excavation work. This is not an entry-level position. Key Responsibilities - Operate tri-axle dump trucks hauling aggregates, soil, gravel, and construction materials - Haul to and from local pits, quarries, suppliers, and job sites - Support excavation crews with site prep, grading, and general labour when required - Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials - Work safely and efficiently on active construction sites - Participate in winter operations including snow removal and salting when required Experience & Qualifications Required - Minimum 5 years heavy commercial truck driving experience required - Proven experience operating dump trucks in construction environments - Experience hauling for quarries, excavation companies, or heavy civil projects preferred - Clean driver’s abstract is mandatory - Experience operating heavy equipment is a strong asset - Experience with tag trailers and pintle hitches is an asset - Ability to load, secure, and transport small equipment is an asset - Strong understanding of load securement, axle weights, MTO regulations, and truck safety compliance - Comfortable working in all weather conditions - Physically capable of labour work when required License Requirements - Valid Ontario DZ Driver’s License required - Clean driver’s abstract required upon application Safety, Equipment Care & Standards - Pre-shift inspections are mandatory every day — no exceptions - Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections required - Cleanliness and care of equipment is mandatory - Maintain a clean and organized truck, trailer, and cab - Report mechanical issues and defects immediately - Taking pride in equipment is a non-negotiable standard Snow Removal (Winter Work) - Available for on-call snow events - Willing to work early mornings, nights, and extended hours during winter operations - Strong winter driving skills required What We’re Looking For - Professional attitude and strong work ethic - Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented - Respect for equipment, job sites, and the public - Good communication with supervisors and crew - Strong knowledge of Simcoe County and Muskoka is an asset - Someone looking for steady, long-term work with a growing company What We Offer - Steady year-round work - Well-maintained equipment - Solid team environment - Competitive pay based on experience - Opportunity to grow with an expanding excavation and underground company Apply Please send your resume and current driver’s abstract to: 705 826 4344 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.96-$30.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2okqt2
