Role Description Northern Lights Luxury Rehab in Muskoka is hiring a full-time Peer Support Specialist. Position OverviewRole: Peer Support SpecialistStatus: Full time (40 hours/week)Location: Muskoka, Ontario (On-site) Target: Individuals with lived recovery experience: Reporting to Clinical Director Key Responsibilities Mentorship: Guide clients through early recovery phases. Support: Facilitate daily peer-led group discussions. Collaboration: Work with clinicians on care plans. Transition: Assist clients with post-rehab discharge planning. Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential daily progress notes. Required Qualifications/Experience: Minimum two years of continuous sobriety. Certification: Ontario Peer Development Alliance (OPDA) preferred. Skills: Strong active listening and boundary setting. Clearance: Valid Vulnerable Sector Check required.
