Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and energetic Recreation Associate to join our team. This role involves engaging with resort guests, organizing recreational activities, and providing excellent guest services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the public, and possess solid communication skills to create a welcoming environment for all participants. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and facilitate recreational activities and programs for diverse age groups, including children and adults Assist guests with inquiries, registration, and activity participation to ensure a positive experience Lead group activities, sports, or games while maintaining safety and engagement Handle cash transactions accurately during program registration or event sales Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity areas and equipment Promote upcoming events and programs through effective communication and public speaking when necessary Collaborate with team members to develop current recreational ideas that enhance community involvement Qualifications Experience working with children in recreational, educational, or childcare settings is preferred Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate program details and promote activities Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Previous guest services or hospitality experience is a plus Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Basic food service knowledge is advantageous but not required Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for community engagement and recreation Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits Discounted or free food Adaptable schedule On-site parking Paid time off Store discount Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p2vd7
