Job Overview We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Manager to oversee the front office operations at Hidden Valley Resort. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming experience while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Prior hotel or hospitality experience is preferred, along with proficiency in multi-line phone systems and guest services. Duties - Greet guests upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their stay - Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using front desk software - Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy - Operate multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, make reservations, and coordinate with other departments - Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details - Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and facilities are in optimal condition - Assist in training and supervising front desk staff to ensure high standards of service are maintained - Ensure adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards - Multitask effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail Skills - Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor - Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities - Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively - Experience with front desk operations in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred - Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently - Knowledge of guest services procedures and hospitality industry standards - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Leadership qualities to supervise front desk staff and coordinate team efforts - Adaptability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively This position offers an opportunity to be a vital part of our team dedicated to providing outstanding guest experiences.
