Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food items in a quick-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining areas. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items when appropriate. Collaborate with team members to ensure effective service during peak hours. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing job duties. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
