Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Responsibilities - Arrive awake, aware, with a positive attitude and ready to work - Work alongside your crew members to achieve scheduling goals and client expectations - Contribute each day to completing high-quality work, and focusing on beating the budgeted timeframe on each job as a team - Properly use, store and protect materials and equipment - Communicate with clients professionally and appropriately - Participate in creating a healthy, happy work environment and corporate culture - Maintain a clean, organized and professional presentation of work sites Requirements - Physical Stamina & Strength: Physically capable of performing labour-intensive tasks for extended periods. This includes lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy materials or equipment. Manual Dexterity & Coordination: Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to perform tasks that require precision and skill are key. Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and practices is crucial to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site. Teamwork Skills: Working effectively as part of a team is essential. Be able to collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks efficiently. Ability to Follow Instructions: Able to accurately understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors or team leads. Reliability & Punctuality: Being dependable, showing up on time, and maintaining a strong work ethic are valued traits. Adaptability & Flexibility: The willingness to take on various tasks as needed and adapt to different work environments or conditions. Basic Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of tools, machinery, and equipment relevant to the field. Problem-Solving Skills: Identifying and solving basic problems during work tasks is useful.
