Camp Program Director Bracebridge

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Camp Program Director to lead and oversee our summer camp programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing engaging activities that promote learning, growth, and fun for campers of various ages. This role requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for working with children and youth. The Camp Program Director will ensure a safe, inclusive, and enriching workplace while coordinating program logistics. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive camp curricula that include educational, recreational, and team-building activities. Train camp staff to ensure high-quality program delivery and adherence to safety standards. Coordinate daily camp schedules, including activity rotations, special events, and guest visits. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and personal development among campers. Manage program budgets, supplies, and equipment to ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and camp policies at all times. Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback from campers, staff, and parents to continuously improve offerings. Promote the camp’s mission and values through community outreach and engagement initiatives. Skills Proven experience in teaching or educational programming is highly desirable. Strong leadership abilities with excellent organizational skills. Ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively while fostering teamwork. Exceptional communication skills for interacting with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Creativity in designing engaging activities that cater to diverse interests and age groups. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Commitment to creating a secure, inclusive space where all participants feel valued and supported.
