Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, ensuring high‑quality dishes are served promptly to our customers.
Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing
Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items under the guidance of the Head Chef
Ensure all food preparation meets food safety standards
Operate kitchen equipment safely and adhere to proper cleaning procedures
Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain a well‑organized and efficient kitchen
Experience Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook in the food industry
Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
Understanding of food safety principles and procedures
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Secondary School (preferred)
Experience: Cooking– 1 year (preferred)
Language: English (preferred)
Licence/Certification: Food Handler Certification (preferred), Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
Language: French not required
Job Types Full‑time, Part‑time
Pay $18.00–$24.00 per hour
