Veterinary Receptionist (Full time) Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital – Orillia, ON Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital is hiring 3 full-time Veterinary Receptionists to join our fast-paced, high-volume team. We are one of the largest and busiest veterinary hospitals in the Orillia area, known for delivering efficient, practical, and affordable care without compromising quality. Our team handles everything from routine wellness visits to urgent and critical cases during business hours. About Our Hospital: 5 exam rooms Fully equipped surgical suite 2 dental suites Full-body and dental digital X-ray High-volume workflow Extended hours to better serve our community Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist clients in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner Answer and manage a high volume of phone calls Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow Maintain accurate medical records using clinic software Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technicians Handle payments and basic administrative tasks What We’re Looking For: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with computer use and typing (quick and accurate) Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced workplace Confident working both independently and within a team Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Previous veterinary or medical reception experience is an asset (but not required) Comfortable handling emotionally sensitive situations with clients Able to work 12 hrs shifts (some times longer depending on daily caseload) What We Offer: Medical benefits after 6 months. Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital is open Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM–10:00 PM, and Saturday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM. Receptionists usually work past closing time depending on caseload and patient/client needs. This may mean shifts ending around 9:00 PM Monday to Thursday, around 11:00 PM on Fridays, and around 3:00 PM on Saturdays. Staff do not work 12-hour shifts every day, and they do not work every Saturday.
