Horticultural Team Lead (Port Carling)

We specialize in high-end garden maintenance and are looking for an experienced team leader to join our team for the upcoming season. Skills & Qualifications 3-5 years gardening/landscaping experience or currently enrolled in a horticultural program Good working knowledge of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees Able to perform physical work Detail oriented Solid work ethic and positive attitude Able to take leadership role, teach others and motivate Respectful Flexible working hours Valid driver’s license Responsibilities The team leader will be involved in all tasks related to the maintenance of gardens-Spring and Fall clean up, fertilizing, weeding, pruning and dead heading, mulching and amending existing gardens, planting of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees, creating new gardens, grass cutting, natural pest control Train crew members on proper and safe job methods Conduct daily inspections on vehicle, tools and equipment and perform the required maintenance Complete and submit all required paperwork on a daily basis Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned truck and yard areas Comply with all company policies and regulations Communicate with customers and crew members in a polite and courteous manner Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pjl1j
