Cleaner/Housekeeper/Room Attendant (Orillia)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming workplace for guests and staff alike. This position is essential in the hospitality industry, where attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness are paramount. Duties - Perform thorough cleaning of cottages, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with established standards. - Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces; and sanitize bathrooms. - Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented. - Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed. - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. - Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department. Experience - Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is required, particularly in hospitality settings. - Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. - Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. - A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
