Resource Consultant for Child Development Needs (Simcoe County)

Join as a Resource Consultant to promote inclusion in early learning programs across Simcoe County. Your coaching skills will empower educators to better support children with developmental needs. As an Indigenous Resource Consultant, you will report to the Resource Consultant Supervisor and work closely with early learning and childcare programs. Your role focuses on supporting children's communication and emotional development while developing Individual Support Plans. You will collaborate with educators to implement effective classroom strategies. Key Responsibilities: • Provide training and intervention techniques for educators • Collaborate on Individual Support Plans for children • Assist in curriculum and classroom modifications • Deliver community education and presentations to parents • Ensure documentation complies with legislation Requirements: • ECE Diploma or equivalent is required • At least 2 years' experience working with children • Resource Consulting Post Graduate Certificate preferred • Excellent communication and confidentiality skills • Current “G” driver’s license with vehicle access Utilize your skills and passion in supporting Indigenous education and child development. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o75x9
