Indigenous Resource Consultant For Early Learning Simcoe County

Enhance early childhood programs as an Indigenous Resource Consultant across Simcoe County. This role promotes inclusion and supports educators in fostering child development through tailored interventions. Reporting to the Resource Consultant Supervisor, this role requires someone enthusiastic about early learning and childcare. You will provide consultative services to support children’s physical, social, emotional, and communication development. Collaboration with educators to implement Individual Support Plans and curriculum adaptations is critical in this position. Key Responsibilities: • Train and coach educators through regular visits • Develop and maintain Individual Support Plans • Assist in curriculum modifications and classroom adaptations • Provide community education and training to parent groups • Maintain documentation as per program policies Requirements: • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent • 2 years' experience with children having development needs • Resource Consulting Post Graduate Certificate is preferred • Solid communication and interpersonal skills • Valid “G” driver’s license with access to a car Leverage your experience and understanding of Indigenous issues to make a significant impact in childcare programs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nin48
