Job Summary Klassic Coconut is seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport food products to our customers throuout the GTA, London Brant area ensuring timely deliveries and a friendly attitude to our customers. This role also includes picking up containers from the CP and CN container yards, which may fall on weekends and holidays. This role offers an prospect to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced setting, supporting the productive movement of goods and materials. Duties Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for regional freight deliveries and containerized freight pick-ups Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and heavy machinery Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Perform minor automotive repairs and troubleshooting as needed Ensure sheduled maintenance and safeties are performed at the appropriate schedule Ensure all equipment is cleaned regularly Operate heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading operations Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues Qualifications Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License with clean driving record 5 years experience operating commercial trucks Knowledge of forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting skills are a plus Strong understanding of safety procedures related to freight transportation and heavy equipment use Excellent communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately Physical ability to load, unload, lift, and move freight as required Prior experience with automotive repair or maintenance is advantageous This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
