AZ Driver (Coldwater)

Job Title: AZ Driver – Paving & Aggregate Location: Coldwater, ON Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of AZ driving experience Industry: Construction / Paving / Aggregates Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Driver to join our team at FX Stone & Paving, a leader in paving and aggregate services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of construction materials, including aggregates, asphalt, and equipment, to and from job sites. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily operations and ensuring timely project completion. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate standard triaxle dump trucks, tractor-trailers, Live Bottoms and other heavy trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, and equipment. - Deliver loads to various job sites in accordance with route and schedule. - Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues. - Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight regulations. - Maintain accurate delivery and log records in compliance with DOT regulations. - Work closely with dispatchers, site supervisors, and crew members to coordinate deliveries. - Adhere to all company safety procedures and traffic laws at all times. - May assist with minor maintenance or site work as needed during downtime. Qualifications: - Valid AZ Driver’s License with a clean driving record. - Minimum 2 years of AZ driving experience, preferably in the construction, paving, or aggregate industry. - Experience hauling asphalt, aggregates, and/or operating dump trailers and float trailers is a strong asset. - Knowledge of provincial and federal trucking regulations. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. - Robust communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. - Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and early mornings as required.
