Construction Superintendent - simcoe, Simcoe

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join our clients’ team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily site activities, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This is a 11 months contract. The superintendent will supervise the daily construction site activities for an expansion project of an industrial manufacturing facility. Job Duties & Responsibilities - Lead and manage daily construction site operations - Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and progress reports - Maintain an organized, compliant, and professional job site environment - Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain productivity and adherence to project timelines - Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists and final documentation - Enforce job site safety standards and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies - Track project progress, quality of work, and subcontractor performance - Monitor and update project schedules, identifying risks and implementing solutions - Oversee material procurement, deliveries, and inspection scheduling - Preform additional duties as needed Requirements - Minimum 5 years of field experience in industrial or large-scale commercial construction projects - Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project execution processes - Experience with press pit construction is highly preferred. - Solid knowledge of surveying is highly preferred. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities - Proficiency with standard business and project management software tools - Valid driver’s license and ability to perform physical site duties - Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, coordinate teams, and resolve in office challenges - Effective communication skills with the ability to engage clients, subcontractors, and internal teams - Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as needed To apply for this position, please send your Word formatted resume to We thank all applicants for their interest.
