Automotive Service Technician (Simcoe)

Automotive Service Technician – 310S (Toyota Experience Preferred) Serving the Simcoe area for over 37 years, Simcoe Toyota, located at 150 Queensway East, Simcoe, ON, is a premier retailer of current and used Toyota vehicles. We offer a brand-new, air-conditioned shop equipped with new and updated equipment in a professional and supportive work environment. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced, fully licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position. Preference will be given to candidates with previous Toyota dealership experience. Responsibilities - Verify vehicle condition and customer concerns through test drives and inspections - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions - Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations and changes, wheel balancing, alignments, and filter replacements - Participate in required training sessions and team meetings - Use shop supplies and materials efficiently and responsibly - Produce high-quality work that reflects pride in workmanship and meets dealership and factory standards - Maintain cleanliness and organization of personal work area and equipment Qualifications & Requirements - Valid Ontario Automotive Service Technician 310S License - Valid Class G Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract - Ability to learn new automotive technologies and repair procedures - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently - High level of integrity, accountability, and workmanship - Excellent attitude and customer service skills - Reliable, dependable, and professional in appearance - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Availability to work alternate Saturdays All applications will be kept in strict confidence.
