Overview Home Support Workers are an integral part of a health care team, and in this role, you will encourage, support, and promote independence for patients in home and community care settings by assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of our Personal Support Manager. We are looking for Home Support Workers (HSWs) to help us bring patient and family-centered care to in patients in the Elmvale , Bracebridge , Gravenhurst , Midland , Penetanguishene , and Waubaushene areas. HSWs assist with activities of daily living, allowing patients and families to live life to the fullest with dignity and independence: Bathing, showering, personal hygiene Dressing Meal preparation Transferring/repositioning Light housekeeping Bowel/bladder care Socializing and companionship What You Bring A caring nature and willingness to help others through excellent customer service A desire to support your community and enhance someone’s quality of life Ability to attend the full time training program A valid driver’s license (G or G2 Classification), access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance To protect our patients, we require current vulnerable sector check screening, and a transparent background check * CarePartners In Your Community In addition to providing home-based health care, CarePartners also serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and provides relief in retirement homes and shared care settings.
