Description
Manager, Program Management – Responsibilities Lead complex development and production programs and proposals for new and non‑routine business opportunities. Plan schedules, arrange own activities, and manage project budgets and schedules using appropriate project management control techniques and proactive EAC management in collaboration with Program Finance. Maintain an Open Issues List and key milestone documentation, provide concise direction to the Capture Team, Program Execution IPT, and the customer to ensure alignment toward execution milestones. Oversee and administer all key process/function deliverables for a given project, drive a rigorous active Risk and Opportunity register, and update or retire R&O;’s during execution. Represent the organization as a prime customer contact on key issues and network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise on issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications – Minimum A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years experience. Experience delivering programs to government agencies, commercial and non‑government regulated industries. Proven ability to create and produce winning bids in the target international customer community. Strong leadership skills, proactive team builder who can motivate and lead by example. Robust interpersonal skills and experience in developing effective, long‑lasting relationships – internal and with customers. Strong negotiating and closing skills; experience in managing and inspiring diverse teams in the delivery of innovative solutions. Ability to take complex analysis and present/communicate it in a concise manner. Excellent commercial and financial awareness, including a valuable understanding of risk and opportunity management, analytical reasoning skills and decision‑making.
