KWC Tooling Engineer Position (Courtice)

Elevate your engineering career as a Tooling Engineer in the KWC area, contributing to Continuous Improvement in a Tier 1 & Tier 2 manufacturing facility. As a Tooling Engineer, you will utilize your mechanical design expertise and CAD software skills to drive process enhancements within the Press Shop. This role involves collaboration with logistics and overseeing the introduction of recent tooling while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and workplace organization standards. Key Responsibilities: • Create concept layouts from part drawings • Assist with technical improvements in production • Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives for efficiency • Define packaging solutions with Logistics team • Support launch of new stamping dies and tooling Requirements: • Engineering Diploma or Degree with Mechanical Design focus • In-depth knowledge of transfer tool design • Proficient in solids-based 3D CAD systems • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing • Experience with In-Die Insertion is preferred Utilize your technical skills to enhance processes and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nme5m
