Reporting to the Senior Manager IT Services, this position is responsible toOwn end-to-end administration and governance of enterprise database platforms across on-prem and Azure—covering deployment, availability/DR, performance, backup/recovery, security/compliance, and Databricks Unity Catalog—to ensure reliable, secure, and SLA-aligned data services.

Backup, Restore & Data Protection Operations: Implement, monitor, and validate backup/restore procedures and recovery drills to protect enterprise data and ensure rapid restoration when required.

Data Governance Administration (Databricks Unity Catalog): Administer Unity Catalog governance, including metastore management, identity/access controls, privilege governance, external location and storage oversight, and catalog/schema design aligned to security and compliance standards.
Qualifications The successful candidate will exhibit uncompromising integrity and commitment to upholding corporate values, and the OPG Code of Business Conduct.
