LINE COOK/PREP (Oshawa)

We take outstanding pride in serving our loyal customers and new ones every day. We are currently seeking qualified applicants for line cooks and garde manger. Responsibilities -prep of all menu items and in a timely manner. -ensure quality of food prep and presentation. -reporting to Executive and Sous Chef, help with restaurant and catering duties. -assist with catering events. -help control waste and spoilage. -maintain a clean work station and adhere to all health guidelines. -cook and present food on a regular basis. -ensure stock levels as per Executive and Sous Chef. Qualifications -Culinary degree and minimum 1 year experience in a restaurant environment. -Food handlers certification -Smart Serve an asset. -Be able to work in a fast passed environment. -Be a team player -Be available all hours, including weekends and holidays. -Be punctual and dressed to company standards. -Practice safety standards and report any unsafe conditions We appreciate all applications.
