Senior Project Finance Manager at Aecon (Courtice)

Elevate project finance management as a Senior Manager at Aecon focusing on the Darlington New Nuclear Program. Lead financial reporting, mentor staff, and enhance accounting processes in office.

This role directly reports to the Director of Finance, requiring comprehensive knowledge of Aecon Nuclear operations. You’ll mentor junior staff while ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, managing project forecasts, and overseeing critical accounting processes. Collaborate closely with project directors and client OPG to streamline financial operations.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide timely financial reporting to meet varied stakeholder needs • Review monthly forecasts and manage month-end close deliverables • Participate in annual budgets and quarterly forecasts • Oversee invoicing, ensuring accuracy and completion • Monitor job costs and facilitate project financial updates

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in business or equivalent • Minimum of 5 to 7 years in finance, ideally in construction • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and Excel • Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
