Press Shop Tooling Engineer (Courtice)

Become a vital part of the manufacturing process as a Tooling Engineer in the KWC region, focusing on progressive tool design and efficiency enhancements for a Tier 1 & Tier 2 facility. In this role, you will apply your mechanical design education and CAD experience to improve manufacturing processes in the Press Shop. Collaborating with teams and adhering to safety and organizational standards will be essential as you take charge of integrating recent tooling and driving improvements in production standards. Key Responsibilities: • Design layouts using advanced CAD software • Implement technical advancements in the Press Shop • Support Continuous Improvement activities • Work with Logistics on effective packaging strategies • Oversee the successful launch of tooling into production Requirements: • Ontario College Diploma or Degree in Engineering • Strong background in progressive and transfer tools • Experience with 3D CAD software like SOLID EDGE • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing • Familiarity with In-Die Insertion is a bonus Apply your engineering expertise to make a difference in the Press Shop by enhancing product quality and safety.
