Join our client as a Benefits Consultant in Oshawa, where you will provide essential guidance on benefit programs and administration. This on-site position focuses on customer service and data integrity.
The role is set for 12 months, requiring 35 hours per week, and involves responding to employee inquiries regarding their benefit eligibility and programs. You will manage day-to-day administration tasks, maintain databases, and perform pension calculations. Ensuring compliance and identifying process improvements are also crucial aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities: • Advise employees on advantages offerings and processes • Administer daily functions of benefit programs • Ensure records are accurate and transactions are timely • Conduct pension calculations and explain results clearly • Prepare materials for member education and communication
Requirements: • Degree in Human Resources or a related area • 3 years of experience in benefits consulting • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills • Proficient in Excel and database management • Familiarity with compliance and audits
