What You’d Be Doing: The core of this role is candidate engagement and assessment — conducting interviews, evaluating fit, and making sharp, well-reasoned recommendations to clients.

• Conduct candidate interviews to assess experience, technical background, motivations, and overall fit
• Evaluate candidates against role requirements and make clear recommendations on who should move forward
• Work closely with clients to understand role requirements and calibrate candidate profiles
• Guide and oversee the research team to source top candidates
• Engage candidates throughout the process, maintaining professional and thoughtful communication
• Write concise, well-structured candidate summaries for internal and client use

What We’re Looking For

• 2–15+ years of recruiting experience, with flexibility for candidates earlier in their recruiting careers who bring strong adjacent experience or advanced degrees
• Technical background (BS or higher in science or engineering); MS, MBA, or PhD is a plus
• Comfort and credibility with both candidates and senior client stakeholders is essential (at least 2+ years of client-facing experience)
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with our clients’ emerging, innovative technologies
• Interest and/or experience in relevant sectors such as: Green Steel, Green Cement, Carbon Capture, New Materials, Semiconductors, Photonics, Green Chemistry, AgTech, FoodTech, Renewable Energy, Electric Mobility, Energy Efficiency, Energy Storage
• Experience recruiting for startup positions as an agency recruiter is preferred
• Experience with retained search is preferred

• Compensation: Base salary plus performance-based bonus, depending on experience
