Associate Psychotherapist Independent Contractor Role (Open) (Oshawa/Toronto/Ottawa/Markham/Online) We Require: - Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology/Psychotherapy/Social Work and registration with CRPO (Full or Qualifying) or OCSWSSW (RSW). - Available to work: A minimum of 5 direct client hours per day for 3 shifts per week in-person. - Professional and ethical practice following all CRPO or OCSWSSW requirements. - Maintenance of own client files and required documentation (e.g., notes) following the clinic procedures. - Management of schedule and client communication. - Able to commit to 1 hour per month for a team meeting. - Proof of Liability Insurance as required by College. Our Ideal Associate: - Dynamic, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently, proactively and well under pressure. - Strong communication skills, ability to communicate professionally and with compassion to clients with patience when dealing with challenging clients. - Confidence to share ideas and constructive criticism to help us grow. - Juggling multiple projects and to-do’s simultaneously is no problem for you—you work well under pressure, meet deadlines and keep promises. - Tech savvy (we are 100% online). - An appetite for innovation and simplicity, who is highly process-oriented. - Working autonomously comes easily to you, but you also love collaborating with a talented team. - Considerable experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, Google Drive Suite, Gmail, Dropbox, Mac, and Windows in a work environment. - Knowledge of JaneApp scheduling software is an asset, but not mandatory. Bonus if you have: - Completed or in the process of certification for Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), Certified Sex Therapist (CST), Trauma Certification, or Certified First Responder Certification (CFRC) or similar. - Fluency in another language (Mandarin/Cantonese/French). - Able to offer couples counselling using EFT/Gottman approach. - EMDR, ART, or Somatic Reprocessing training/certification. - Training in Internal Family Systems, Dialectical BehaviouralTherapy, or Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
