Empower students in Beaverton and Port Perry as a Personal Support Worker and Day School Classroom Teacher. This role includes hybrid classroom instruction, mentorship, and student assessment.

DCDSB is seeking a qualified instructor to lead PSW programs across Port Perry, Beaverton, and Ajax. The role focuses on teaching key subjects such as Human Relationships and Child Development, while delivering content through a hybrid format. Candidates should have strong teaching skills, clinical supervision ability, and experience with online platforms like D2L.

Key Responsibilities:• Provide hybrid instructional days combining in-person and online teaching • Deliver recruitment, orientation, and compliance for the PSW program • Manage student assessment and evaluation for both classroom and placement • Supervise and mentor students during clinical placements• Conduct labs and workshops related to health care education

Requirements:• Active RN or RPN certification with CNO • Ontario College of Teachers qualification in good standing • Experience in adult education, especially with D2L • Teaching experience related to assigned subjects • Familiarity with compliance and standards in health education
