Design Engineer For New Nuclear Projects Oshawa

Contribute to current nuclear initiatives as a System Reliability & Design Engineer with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) in Oshawa. This full time, onsite role focuses on system design, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Section Manager, you will play a key role in advancing nuclear technology by enhancing engineering governance and contributing to equipment reliability and reactor safety projects. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams and regulatory bodies will ensure optimal performance in nuclear operations, while you author vital technical documentation to maintain compliance. Key Responsibilities: Support equipment reliability and aging management initiatives Drive continuous improvement of engineering procedures Develop essential technical documentation and specifications Coordinate engineering tasks with internal and external teams Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline At least 3 years of relevant experience in nuclear settings Previous experience with regulatory bodies highly preferred Robust knowledge of nuclear industry codes and standards Proficiency in engineering and digital tools like Python Bring your engineering expertise to OPG and support pioneering nuclear solutions in Oshawa.
