Dental Assistant Level II (Ottawa)

Certified Level II Dental Assistant – Full-Time Permanent We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team in a full-time permanent position. We are a family-oriented office looking for someone with a positive attitude who values teamwork and enjoys contributing to a supportive and team-oriented environment. A strong team-player attitude is essential. Schedule Requirements - Full-time permanent hours (37.5-42 hours per week) - 1–2 evenings per week - 1 Saturday per month (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM) Responsibilities - Chairside assisting for the dentist during a variety of dental procedures - Sterilization and infection prevention procedures according to IPAC guidelines - Sterilization area maintenance and operatory set-up/turnover - Taking radiographs - Assisting with patient care and clinical flow - Floating duties 2–3 days per week to support the clinical team and front office as needed - Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation Qualifications - Certified Level II Dental Assistant - HARP certified - Knowledge and experience using AbelDent software - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to multitask and work collaboratively within a team environment - Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude We offer a supportive and welcoming team environment and are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to providing excellent patient care.
